This thing heats up in about 10 seconds and straightens my hair unlike any other straightener I have owned....and i have the most unruly hair. I was concerned about forking out so much as I was disappointed in the past with other products, but the was well worth it!

I'm a pro and currently have about 7 irons. This iron is probably the best made in quality and performance. Great for permanent straightening!

It does heat up quickly, but for some reason my hair never holds the curls. My friend has the same product which she got from sephora for over $200 and my hair holds curls better with hers so I'm skeptical as to if I have the real thing, although mine came with the box and all of the expected markings...
